Taste Bridge (“we”, “us”) operates an AI-powered food delivery service across Lagos, Nigeria. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed.
By using the app you agree to the practices described here. Where the law gives you rights — under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the NDPR — this policy is how we honour them.
What we collect
- Account & contact — name, email, phone number, and delivery addresses you save.
- Orders & preferences— what you order, favourites, dietary signals, and chats with Taste AI.
- Location — approximate or precise location, only when you grant it, to find nearby kitchens and track delivery.
- Payments — handled by our payment partners. We store a token and the last four digits, never your full card number.
- Device & usage — anonymised analytics that depend on the cookie choices you make.
How we use it
We use your data to:
- Take payment, dispatch riders, and keep your order on track.
- Power Taste AI recommendations tuned to your taste — only with personalization consent.
- Prevent fraud and keep accounts secure.
- Improve speed and discovery through aggregate analytics.
We never sell your personal data. Full stop.
Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing.
