Terms of service

The fair, readable rules that let us bring great food to your door across Lagos.

Updated June 2026
01

The agreement

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Taste Bridge. By creating an account or placing an order, you accept them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be flagged in-app, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

02

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to order, including alcohol where offered.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential — you’re responsible for activity on your account.
  • Provide accurate delivery details. Riders go where you tell them.
03

Orders & payment

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy from the restaurant through Taste Bridge. An order is confirmed once the kitchen accepts it.

  • Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable fees at checkout.
  • Payment is taken at confirmation, or on delivery where cash on delivery is available to you.
  • Once a kitchen begins preparing your food, an order generally can’t be cancelled. Reach support and we’ll do what we fairly can.
04

Delivery

Delivery times are estimates, affected by traffic, weather, and demand across Lagos. We work to keep them honest and your food hot.

If no one is reachable at the address after reasonable attempts, the order may be returned and charged in full.

05

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the service.
  • Abuse riders, restaurant staff, or support agents.
  • Submit fraudulent orders, chargebacks, or promo abuse.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

06

Liability

Taste Bridge connects you with independent restaurants and riders. We are not the manufacturer of the food. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, our liability is limited to the value of the affected order.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

07

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
